Do I need to get any warm clothes with me? Well this depends on when you will be coming. It is most likely that you will need to bring with you lots of shorts and T-shirts! During summer months Crete is sunny with temperatures going up to 38c! However, spring is usually cool and autumn windy. We suggest you take mostly light clothes for warm weather, and a light jacket if your visit is during summer months. In case you are visiting THC in spring or autumn, you should get clothes for cooler weather. A fleece is always useful year round as even in summer the late evenings can get a little chilly - and you don't want to sitting outside a nice restaurant shivering! How much luggage should I get with me? You should keep in mind that there are clothes washing facilities available, so you do not need to bring lots of stuff with you. For your convenience while traveling, we always suggest that each group member has ONE piece of luggage with them –just to make sure that luggage is easily countable. Do I need to bring over any specialized equipment? No. Everything needed for the safe and proper execution of the therapeutic programmes is provided by THC. We would only suggest you bring over a pair of long trousers and boots for the trekking sessions. Is there any cloth washing equipment? Yes, there is a washing machine and ironing facilities available. You won't need a drier; Crete is sunny for over 300 days a year! What about flights for overseas holidaymakers? If you find it a hassle to plan and book you flight tickets, the THC team can find the best deal for your group. Can Parents accompany their child/children? Yes they can. Groups with people with; learning difficulties, autism, mental health problems, challenging behavior, that have special needs should be necessarily accompanied by carers capable of dealing with their groups' particular needs. The ratio of carers/patients ranges from 1/2 for easy to handle groups, going up to 2/1 for more severe cases. We can always consult you on the number of carers needed for your particular group … Just contact us! Remember we have our own trained staff here to help too. Are Therapeutic Programs obligatory?
