Become a Therapeutic Holidays Centre volunteer, be part of our hardworking and motivated team, we promise it will be an invaluable experience!

Volunteer placements are available from early April, until November every year. Therapeutic Holiday Centre is managed and operated by a motivated international team of volunteers and paid professionals, who have one single objective: To provide a unique holiday break for those people who have been challenged-by-life in the one or another way. The common characteristic of the THC team is that everybody enjoys working with disabled people, and that we all feel compensated for our efforts when we see a person with special needs to smile with triumph while doing horseback therapeutic riding…

You are welcome to join our team as a volunteer or as paid professional. Please make sure you read all the details about the positions available, before you send us over your CV.

Enjoy working with mentally and/or physically challenged people, or other socially excluded groups of people?
Speak English, and maybe willing to learn some Greek?
Want to get involved with tasks related to the farm, riding, catering, trek guiding, organizing programs and other interactions connected with THC programs and activities?
Feel ready to become a member of the Therapeutic Holidays Centre team, and follow instructions of our paid personnel?
Consider yourself determined enough to work upto 9 hours a day, 6 days a week for at least a month?
Capable of understanding and implementing our ‘no- discrimination' policy?
A positive person, ready to encourage and support disadvantaged people?

If you are you could become a member of our operations team. We will offer:

Training
Accommodation, with all bills paid (electricity and water)
At least one Greek style meal per day
A fulfilling and unforgettable experience as part of a friendly team, working for the disadvantaged and socially excluded people.

Fundraising is something both the volunteers and the staff of THC do from time to time… Target areas are; Heraklion, Karteros, Chersonisos, Athens and Amoudara.
